Antonio J. Chamoun, MD
Dr. Chamoun is board-certified in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular diseases. Consistently voted as a "Main Line Today" Top Doctor, he has distinguished himself by performing Chester County’s first carotid artery stenting procedure.
He is an expert in performing all aspects of complex interventional coronary, peripheral vascular and carotid procedures.
Arthur B. Hodess, MD

Dr. Hodess is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, critical care medicine, internal medicine and echocardiography. He has served as Chief of Cardiology and Director of Critical Care at Brandywine Hospital since 1990.
Pamela Maur, MD
Pamela Maur, MD, is a fellowship-trained cardiologist providing comprehensive cardiac care for the Tower Health System at Brandywine Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology and American College of Physicians. She has a special interest in women and cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Maur is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. She completed her residency and her fellowship in cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina where she received the Cardiology Fellow of the Year Award.
Chirdeep Patel, MD
Board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Patel specializes in performing procedures, such as angioplasty and stents to open up blocked coronary, peripheral and carotid arteries. He has worked at several hospitals in the Delaware Valley, treating patients with cardiovascular conditions ranging from routine to complex, including blockages below the knees. Dr. Patel is a member of numerous professional societies and has contributed to numerous publications.
Michael P. Sabadish, MD
Dr. Sabadish is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and cardiac electrophysiology. His specialty includes pacemaker and defibrillator implantation with follow-up care, the use of minimally invasive evaluation, and heart rhythm disorders. He has a particular interest in performing ablation therapy on supraventricular arrhythmias.
Alexander M. Shpilman, MD
Director, Heart Failure Clinic Cardiologist
Dr. Shpilman is board-certified in advanced heart failure and transplant, adult echocardiography, cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, and Director Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Shpilman provides comprehensive cardiac care to his patients, helping them navigate the complex decisions of modern heart care and managing heart disease on an ongoing basis. He believes in applying the most current research in the field of cardiology to create an individualized care approach for each patient.
Karen Kennedy, RN
Cardiology Nurse Navigator
Karen helps patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options, provides education on the patient’s current cardiac disease, medications, diet, and cardiac rehabilitation, provides smoking cessation education and stress management strategies, assists navigating the healthcare system, and supports the patient in many other ways.
Emily Todd, CRNP
Emily Todd is a highly trained Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with excellent patient care and assessment skills. Emily is compassionate and skilled in attending to patients in diverse healthcare settings.
Emily specializes in Cardiology and has a special interest in heart health, focusing on prevention of heart attacks.
Lynn Righter-Shookla, RN
Administrative Director of Clinical Operations
Lynn has directed Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Services at Brandywine Hospital since 2015, and has served as the Administrative Director of Clinical Operations since 2019. Lynn is an experienced clinical leader, having been named Brandywine Hospital Clinical Leader of the Year – 2017.
