Oncology Nurse Navigator

Receiving a diagnosis of cancer can be frightening and overwhelming. We are pleased to be able to offer you the services of our oncology nurse navigator. A navigator is a person who helps a person with cancer chart a course through the maze of health care-from biopsy and diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. This person is your guide for information and coordination of your care.

Oncology Nurse Navigator Cheryl Pruskowski RN, ACM, has more than 30 years of experience in working with cancer patients and their families, and serves as Brandywine Hospital's Nurse Navigator.

Cheryl will serve as a resource for patients and their families, and act as a link between the doctors, nurses, and other hospital personnel. She will return phone calls and emails in a timely manner, meet with you on an as-needed basis, will direct you to the appropriate resources, and make the journey a little less intimidating.

We here at Brandywine Hospital look forward to supporting you and your loved ones through the maze of cancer care from diagnosis to survivorship.

There is no charge for the navigator service. Please let us know how we can help you.
